Located at Zhangqiu, Jinan, Shandong Province, Zhangqiu Heavy Forging Co., Ltd. was founded in 1992, with registered capital of 5,600,0000 Yuan and company assets of 450 million Yuan. Covering a site area of 350,000 square meters and construction area of 210,000 square meters, and with over 800 employees, the company now has 250,000 tons of annual production capacity, with its technical strength ranking top in the domestic casting-forging enterprises.
With 200,000 tons of annual output for grinding steel ball, for steel balls with diameter below 100 mm, its surface hardness is HRC60-65，core hardness is HRC58-63，and volume hardness is HRC59-63. For steel balls with diameter over 100 mm, its surface hardness is HRC60-62，core hardness is HRC45-48，and volume hardness is HRC53. Broken rate is less than 0.2. Forged ball specification: 20mm to 180mm. Casting ball specification: 8mm to 130mm.
In 2006, grinding rod tempering production line was newly launched to produce 40-120mm diameter steel balls, with 1900 kilowatts of total heating power and 32,000 tons of annual capacity. The main users are mining rod mill grinding body, oil drilling and oil extraction and mechanical products bar conditioning. The products abide by U.S API (Society of Petroleum Engineers) standard, with mechanical strength reaching 1100MPa, tensile strength greater than 1176MPa, and hardness of HRC50-55.
With many years of practical experience in the field of grinding manufacture and usage, as well as the company’s advanced production and testing equipment, our steel research institute developed new type of B2 material steel ball, which combines the advantages of forging ball and casting ball, making surface and core hardness difference no more than HRC3. Besides, the roll production line jointly developed with famous professors from Tsinghua University and Beijing Aerospace University further improved the ball appearance, quality and yield. Grinding rod production line even breaks through domestic technology to make the diameter ranging from 35 mm to 120 mm and length ranging from 2m to 6m, using its unique developing innovative technology to fill the area blank of the product. The product has been used by mining enterprises of Australia and South America for long term with satisfactory feedback. Steel balls and grinding rods are widely applied in material grinding production of many industries e.g. metallurgy, mine, cement, thermal power, chemical industry and magnetic materials etc., with customers covering Asia, Europe, Oceania, America, Africa and other places. Steel bass products are applied in grinding production industries e.g. gold, silver, copper, aluminum, iron ore, cement, coal, chemical industry and magnetic materials etc.
The company also has the following six branch factories: heavy forging, heavy equipment manufacturing, precision machining and lifting hook unit manufacturing.All kinds of large forgings, machinery parts, mining and engineering machinery equipment, flanges, auto parts and oil machinery accessories have an annual output of 50,000 tons.
